I have been a counselor for 30 years and an artist/dumpster diver since I won a girl scout art award in kindergarten and was lifted into my first alleyway dumpster in 1st grade to get some good used stuff. I've decided to go for it and open my own shop & teach some of the fun stuff I've figured out to do...so come join me...
My junque drawer studio will be open for shopping and snacking experiences on the following Saturdays: Aug. 4, Sept. 22, Oct. 13, Nov. 3 and Dec. 8. (the 2008 schedule will be posted in late fall) Come by between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 26550 W. 135th, Olathe, KS...call for directions (913)856-4164 or 645-9171. Great & unique stuff for sale: jewelry, wall art, cards, boot purses, funky handbags, home decor, frames, & the list goes on and on!!! Remember to order custom pieces/personalized work for holiday giving or to buy for YOURSELF, because by gawd, you deserve it! junque drawer studio ART ADVENTURES will begin in October, 2007... 9 great classes taught at Jane's studio in Olathe... you can make unique jewelry...clocks...bowls...wall art...bulletin boards...mirror art...lanyards...beaded barward and many other great pieces! Please contact me for a detailed class schedule.. AND...think about scheduling an art adventure for your friendship groups, bunko groups (when you're weary of rolling dice and would rather drill one to make it into a funky necklace), community groups, etc. All materials, snacks, beverages are included in the price. Prices vary $25-$40 per class.
Soon to come...Fall 2007...art/counseling support groups for teens!!! Nothing is better for a growing soul than to embellish your spirit and play with art stuff while you discuss with others how to stay centered and make good decisions through your teen years!!!
